lyrics

I arrive at the station again and again
But I won’t go into town because it’s where I’ve always been
You built the tracks
You hired the conductor
You put the obstacles in my way
You knew this would be the way
For my trapped soul every day

Force fed by a finch
Tasty manipulations
Even better regurgitated
Outdated reasoning makes for stale seasonings
Too many questions harbors indigestion
Too much awareness results in lack of fairness

Your suggestions fall like random drops of rain
And they do no good to ease the pain
The idea of knowing the rift is too broad
It even cast shadows over god
Now pose for a picture, thinking’s done you no good
You are trapped in living purgatory, and you’ve done all you could
